Rara Lake, a beautiful heavenly place og Mugu districts

Nepal is a beautiful country with various beautiful scenarios though the unstable political condition of Nepal is displacing its scenic beauty among the other people.

In the present time Rara Lake seems very beautiful and fascinating and there are no words to describe its fascinating beauty. In the present context the image of Rara has becomes such that every words become less in front of its beauty. It is very difficult to describe the image of present Rara in a word.


Rara is the biggest lake of Nepal that lies in Mugu district and in which Snow has added more heavenly scene in its image. Rara lake has been surrounded everywhere by white and shining mountains and also can seen greenery around of Pine trees and cypress trees. In the middle of all these we cans see blue wide and quite Rara Lake.


Mugu is one of the rural districts that lie in Karnali Zone of Nepal. Rara is the smallest National Park that lies in Mugu district. And Rar Lake is the biggest lake of the nation that lies in Rara national park. Rara lake is situated at 2,972 meter above the sea level and has spread up to 5.2 kilometer length and 2.4 kilometer breadth. It has 166 meter depths.


Rara Lake is ever green beautiful place but since long time there was drought in Rara but recently as the snowfall started in Rara, its beauty too returned back along with snowfall.
